Aim and Scopes

Aims

The Journal of Mechanical Engineering (formerly known as the Journal of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering) or JMechE is a journal published by Penerbit Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM Press) in Malaysia. JMechE is a peer-reviewed international journal that provides a place for researchers and academicians worldwide to publish their research findings and the educational methods they are engaged in. This journal acts as a vital link for the mechanical engineering community for rapid dissemination of their academic pursuits.

All papers submitted to JMechE are subjected to a double-blind peer-review process through a worldwide network of specialised and competent referees. Each paper must have at least two positive referee assessments before it can be published.

Scope

Contributions are invited from various disciplines that are allied to mechanical engineering, based on original research works. The journal accepts different types of contribution such as theoretical, numerical and simulation, and experimental works, or combinations of them that deal with the new development in mechanical engineering and other related engineering fields, including, but not limited to:
– Computation and Experimental Mechanics
– Dynamics, Vibration, and Sound
